Word for the Day:"His Divine Approval"

James 1: 2-4 (NIV) Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, 3) because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. 4) Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. As we begin our week, my first thought today is; thank God we are alive and have another chance in this life. Sisters and Brothers today’s word reminds us of an incredible reality of our lives in God. The Apostle James is simply saying; Trials are an adverse circumstance that allows God in our lives to both identify where we are spiritually as well as to prepare us for where He wants us to go. Indeed there is no escaping this spiritual reality of our lives in God. The truth of the matter is you are either in a trial now, you’ve just come out of a trial, or you are getting ready to go into a trial. Trials are simply unavoidable and this is whether you know God or not.The good news for those of us who know God in today’s word is, although we all have to experience them, we take comfort in knowing that trials must first pass through God’s hands before reaching us. Not one thing comes our way without “His Divine Approval”. Howbeit, in order to get His divine approval, there must be a divine reason for it, Glory to God!!! God allows trials and tests in our lives in order to reveal where we are along our spiritual destiny, to correct us when needed, and to empower us for the journey ahead. Have a great Monday with “His Divine ApprovalElder Baker
