This Thanksgiving Holiday, Grace and Truth Leadership partnered with UNICEF, USA to provide care and educational items to the refugees and migrants of the Kakuma Refugee Camp in Kenya.
Donations provided funded the following efforts to the Refugees of the Kakuma Camp:
Nutrition
Health care
Materials and training for teachers and caregivers to support Early Childhood Development (ECD)
Child-Friendly Spaces for learning and play
Counseling to help reduce the effects of trauma
Protection from violence and exploitation

ABOUT THE BROOKLYN SAINTS
We provide sports, guidance and physical fitness programs that empower and educate the youth of underserved communities. Our vision is to help young people recognize their abilities and talents while igniting their self-esteem. Children having the tools, resources, and opportunities necessary for growth and success is our goal. The Brooklyn Saints encourage everyone to succeed academically and socially. We offer a gateway to pursue a higher education, better jobs, and ultimately smart life choices. We have taken on this role wholeheartedly and with pride. Our aim is to provide year long activities, such as mentoring, tutoring and camping along with high school and college tours. We pursue excellence by pushing each other to be better. We are dedicated to giving our youth the tools needed for a more fulfilling life.

Year after year, our holiday cheer program brightens the holidays of children and seniors in need by matching them with caring community sponsors who provide Thanksgiving and Christmas meals and/or gifts.
With this letter we are pleased to acknowledge receipt of your gifts to the Holiday Cheer program. Your donation provided 62 low income citizens a Thanksgiving meal during this holiday season.

Crosby Garfield Center, Raleigh NC
With the help of Umicore USA donating 4,000 mask to Grace & Truth Leadership, we were able to pay-it-forward to the Crosby Garfield Center of Wake County. The Cosby Garfield center in turn paid it forward to the community by putting together care packages to people in need during this COVID pandemic. We were so happy to be apart of this effort. Thank you Umicore for helping to support our community in a huge way!

On behalf of the Wake County Social and Economic Vitality team, please accept our thanks and gratitude for your organization Grace & Truth Leadership’s donation of 4,000 disposable face mask. While we are still in the mist of the COVID-19 pandemic it is vital to the health and safety of our community that we continue to be able to offer free mask and hand sanitizer kits to residents in need.
Your donations will be used to our COVID-19 Food Distributions at Macedonia New Life Church, Iglesia de Dois Pentecostal Church and Upper Room Church of God in Christ Church. They will also be used at COVID-19 food distribution, testing and vaccination clinics held at Gethsemane SDA Church.

Pay It Forward 2020
Grace & Truth Leadership had the opportunity to partner with the Dovetail Project and paid it forward by donating money to help young fathers & babies during COVID – 19 Pandemic.
Rwanda Mission
Grace and Truth Leadership had the opportunity to support a mission trip to Rwanda, Africa to bring aid, support, supplies to blind children at a blind school in Rwanda.
Houston Hurricane Harvey 2017
Grace & Truth Leadership was able to provide financial support to families and communities impacted by Hurricane Harvey. We connected with Pastor Turner and His wife of Grace congregational Church in Houston, Texas. James Baker not only wanted to be a financial support, he took a flight to Houston and volunteered to help give out food and supplies to the people who were impacted by Hurricane Harvey.
Hair2Help Community Service
Pastor Baker along with Grace and Truth Leadership, partnered with Deja Wiliams of Hair2Help: We were able to provide 150 bookbags to the underserved girls of the Durham Community. It’s important for our young girls and boys to feel supported by our community after all it takes a village. Grace & Truth Leadership prides itself on standing in the gap to help those that are underserved. We all need to become that village.
Kings Kids Daycare Center 2019
Pastor Baker along with the staff at Kings Kids Daycare Center, where he blessed the staff with breakfast to thank them for their hard work. Some times you have to let people know how much they are loved and appreciated for their hard work.
