Word for the day "Dry Bones Dancing"

Today’s word will be coming from my wife Lady Robin Baker…

He asked me, “Son of man, can these bones live?” I said, “O Sovereign LORD, you alone know.” Then he said to me, “Prophesy to these bones and say to them, Dry bones, hear the word of the LORD! (Ezekiel 37:3).

I remember when I was young and growing up in church, it was my sincere desire to please God.

Although, I was only the tender age of 7, I was very much in tune with God. It wasn’t until I became a teenager that I realized that something was missing in my life, or so I thought.

It was no longer important to please God (I know I’m not the only one) it was more important to please my flesh.

In doing so sin took me into some dark places. I walked away from God and lost my entire mind.

Death was following my every step of the way when I should have been dead God allowed me to live. but God!

When mercy says no!

I knew that I needed God, but I didn’t know how to talk to him anymore. Have you ever felt like talking to God was impossible? you are not by yourself.

I have been in the valley more times then I want to admit. It is not a great place to be.

I asked God one day can these dry bones live? His answer to me was, “You have died a spiritual death, but I am here to resurrect you.

The day that I surrendered to God is the day that mercy said NO! No, she will not die, no you can’t have this anointed vessel, No, she will live.

The struggle to stay on top is real, but with the help of God, you will dance again!

Are there times you just feel like giving up? do you often feel spiritually drained? Do you find yourself straying from God, not quite knowing how to get back, do you feel dead inside and your love has waxed cold?

If you answered yes to any of these questions, guess what…God wants to restore you. This life that we live is hard no doubt, but we were never told that it would be easy, I hear people say in church the struggle is over.

To be quite honest with you I say God bless them, but as for me when one struggle is over, another one is right around the corner. There will always be struggles. (I’m just saying)

On this journey called life you are going to fall, but what matters most is how you get up. I am so tired of falling that my spiritual knees are black and blue.

I know that not getting up is not an option so I will continue to get up, and brush myself off, and try again.

Dry Bones Dancing.

Can these bones live? can you get back to God? yes, you can. When I walked away from God, he never left my side.

I was dead spiritually, but God never left me. He was there silently and gently guiding me on the path back to him.

I passed the spiritual graveyard where my bones had died and wondered if these dry bones would ever dance again.

Then he said to me, “Prophesy to these bones and say to them, Dry bones, hear the word of the” The word of the Lord was to live!

I know that this is for someone today. If you find yourself moving from God instead of moving towards God, this word is for you.

Don’t be afraid God has not left you and the good news is, he is waiting for you to come to him to be restored.

Get back to where you used to be and remember it’s not how many times you fall its how many times you have the strength to get up. Your Damascus road experience is now! (Acts 9: 1-19)

I may not be where I should be in God, but I know I am on my way. Can these dry bones live? yes, they can.

Will you dance again? yes, you will! During my Damascus road experience, I learned that God is the most amazing force in my life, He showed me His mercy was great and His grace covered me and was in my favor.

And, if I follow him, I will never be alone again. You will never be alone. We are limited by time and space, and we are weak and sometimes we may fall too far, but each time he’ll catch us because he knows how fragile we are.

Today these dry bones are dancing! I’m dancing as though no one is watching, I am loving as though I have never loved before, I am singing as though no one can hear me, and I am living as though Heaven is on earth!

Prophesy to these bones and say to them, Dry bones, hear the word of the LORD! And put on your shoes and dance!Loving you with the love of Christ,Lady Robin Baker
