Word for the day "Every time you look up, you gone see us winning"

Romans 12:2 (NKJV) And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

Few things in life come easier than giving in to the pressure to be like everyone else. And even fewer things are more dangerous.

Resistance requires strength and self-assurance. Today’s message is for our youth, mentors, mentees, and leaders of any kind! “You don’t have to conform”.

With Jesus on our side, every time you look up you gone see us winning, so look up!

Always remember above all in your life that God loves you just as you are.

The self-assurance that you know God accepts you and loves you just as you are (Romans 5:8).

You don’t need to wear the latest fashions, have the hair color and style of the day, or drive the make and model of the car you think will satisfy that yearning to be in the in-crowd.

There’s truly only one thing that satisfies, and that is a right relationship with God. Are you in right relationship with God today? If you are great, and if you are not it’s not too late!

The Lord desires to connect with you and for you to connect with Him today. Let your answer be yes today and for the rest of your life.

Perhaps you feel unworthy, or want to wait for another time that’s more convenient. When it comes to God, the time is always now, don’t put off until tomorrow which is not promised to any of us.

And let’s take our now and the present moment of our lives while we have the opportunity.

Thanks be to our God who has given us the Victory in this life here on earth. Remember every time you look up, you gone see us winning, because we have Jesus on our side.

Point to ponder

You could make the argument that we live in a troubled society. And if that’s the case, then adopting the values and priorities of our society would make us-by virtue of definition-troubled as well, wouldn’t it? Then why do we give in to the pressure to conform to those values and priorities? We often refer to it as a peer or societal pressure.

Pray this Prayer with me- Dear God, I thank you that you are enough for me. Help me, Lord to be transformed by your Holy Spirit so that the world might see You in me. And Lord someone right now desires to accept you in their lives today, by faith we count it all done right now in Jesus name, Amen.
