Word for the day "It's time to come clean"
Psalm 51:10 (KJV) Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.
There are critical times in our life when we must come clean with ourselves.
To get to that place in your life where you tell the truth about something that you have been keeping secret. We must all get to this time in our lives for God to do the needed work for our destiny. If you are a person who wants to walk with God but you’re having a tough time. So, what do you do? Where can one start in the search for spiritual renewal? What kind of relationship do you have with God?Start with the realization that spiritual renewal comes from God. Don’t seek the experience of spiritual renewal, but seek the one who renews your spirit. When people came to Jesus to have their needs met, very often our Lord redirected their thinking. He taught them to lift their eyes from their own daily necessities and seek God first. He told them, “He will give you all you need from day to day if you live for him and make the Kingdom of God your primary concern.”(Matthew 6:33). In the same way, the psalmist in (Psalm 111), encourages his listeners to look to God first, who will then meet their needs. He writes, “Who can forget the wonders He performs? How gracious and merciful is our Lord! He gives food to those who trust Him; He always remembers His covenant.” (Psalm 111:4-5)
We will have to come clean about the intimate relationships in our lives.
This isn't going to be easy, but it will be worth it in the long run. Friends that make you feel bad about yourself are not friends you need. The length of time you've known them and the critical struggles you've been through together don't mean anything if they always bring you down.Don't waste your time on anyone who treats you badly, and that's in a relationship, friendship, coworkers, and the like. Life is just too short, and you must make this critical adjustment to bring a sense of cleaning to your life.I understand the importance of having extended networks, particularly on social media. You never know when having a connection with someone could create an opportunity for you. However, there are some social media connections that are worthy of being broken. Create a workout plan to feel stronger and gain more energy, and you'll be more likely to create special relationships consistently.
Point to ponder
Spiritual renewal doesn’t come from seeking spiritual renewal. That only results in a temporary emotional high lacking the true substance that God can provide. Instead, seek the Lord and surrender your will to His. Let it be your first thought each morning when you start your day.
