Word for the day "Loneliness and Isolation perils"

Proverbs 18:1 (MSG) [Words Kill, Words Give Life] Loners who care only for themselves spit on the common good. You hear it and see it in the world we live in: American culture is becoming increasingly marked by loneliness and isolation. In one way it's understandable. There is a sense of security and control in isolation and disconnection, but it's a false sense of security. In fact, living lonely is anything but secure. It's a dangerous way of living because it allows a person to overlook real life, real people, and all the benefits and rewards that go with intimate relationships. And probably more important, our character has little chance to grow when we live life in isolation from others. It allows our thinking to go unchallenged and allows damaging issues we may struggle with to grow and thrive in the incubator isolation provides.Point to ponder- If you're in a place of feeling isolated, do what whatever it takes to break out that false sense of security. We need relationship with the Lord and people. Our Leadership team is especially thankful for those of you who provided financial donations and support in the month of January 2018 by partnering with us in efforts to advance the kingdom of God in this 21st century season: Special thanks to Mr. William Wilson, Mrs. Annette Straker, Mr. Kenneth Washington, and Ms. Gertrude Scott. Why don’t you take the opportunity to write us on our blog and let us know how we are doing in serving you Great people, we’d love to hear from you!Follow me on Twitter @Elder James Baker, as I endeavor to encourage and empower leaders of today and tomorrow!Kingdom Blessings,Pastor James Baker, Jr.http://www.graceandtruthleadership.org/#!donate/vv9e2
