Word for the day "The Power of Communication"

I Thessalonians 5: (NCV) 10 Jesus died for us so that we can live together with him, whether we are alive or dead when he comes. 11 So encourage each other and give each other strength, just as you are doing now.As person who wears several hats in life, between family, work, and ministry. I have to confess one of the most critical concerns in the lives of people everywhere is “The power of communication”. I have had several educational accomplishments, and experiential learning. But we as a people really have to learn how to communicate better. Ineffective communication will destroy your family, your career, and your church Ministry. How well do you communicate? Or how well do you think you communicate with others?Yes, I am talking to you today (people) we have issues with communication. But it’s not a stretch to say that many of us even have the same kinds of shortcomings when it comes to communicating with our families, friends, coworkers, and let us not forget with God. And we wonder why we live basically unfulfilled lives individually and as related to our relationships! We need to ask God to help us communicate effectively and clearly. We need to work on expressing what’s in our hearts in a way that blesses the people around us. Many times we practice and function the way we have learned to communicate all of our lives. And not really take notice of how ineffective our communication skill sets are with others. Who do you have a real quality relationship with?Point to ponder- Effective communication is learned then practiced, it’s time to learn the skill sets that bring quality relationships to our lives. I pray you receive today’s insight, and have a fantastic day!Quote William A. Ward- “Flatter me, and I may not believe you. Criticize me, and I may not like you. Ignore me, and I may not forgive you. Encourage me, and I will not forget you.”Our Leadership team is especially thankful for those of you who provided financial donations and support in the month of December 2016 by partnering with us in efforts to advance the kingdom of God in this 21st century season: Special thanks to Mr. William Wilson, Ms. Rita McGuffin, Ms. Mable Bazemore, and Ms. Gertrude Scott.
