Word for the day " A Sufficient Grace "
II Corinthians 12:9 (NASB) And He has said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for power is perfected in weakness.” Most gladly, therefore, I will rather boast [c]about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may dwell in me. 10 Therefore I am well content with weaknesses, with [d]insults, with distresses, with persecutions, with difficulties, for Christ’s sake; for when I am weak, then I am strong. The notion of learning to depend upon God will help you build personal character even if it is at times elusive. And of this you can be certain: God is sufficient to meet your needs. Amen. Do you feel the demands of life to be overwhelming at times? If so, you must learn to trust not only upon your own resources, but also upon the reservoir of promises of your Father in heaven. The Lord will guide you and your family if you let Him. So even if your circumstances are difficult, trust the Father. The Psalmist writes, “Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning” (Psalm 30:5 NKJV). But when we are suffering, the morning may seem very far away. I just want to remind you, it is not. God promises that He is “near to those who have a broken heart” (Psalm 34:18 NKJV). When we are troubled, we must turn first to God, and we must encourage our friends and family members to do likewise. If you are discouraged by the inevitable demands of life here in the earth realm, be mindful of this fact: the loving heart of God is sufficient to meet any challenge, and yes including yours. Sisters and brothers just walk in the sufficient Grace of our Great God!Quote- Hannah Whitall Smith “God’s saints in all ages have realized that God was enough for them. God is enough for time; God is enough for eternity. God is enough!”
