Word for the day "Be of good Cheer"

John 16:33 (NIV) These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will[d] have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.”Sometimes life hurts. You don’t have to look very far to find pain in your own life or in the lives of others. The last few years have been some painful years for me personally, in my family, my job, and Ministry planting of Church. All I can say is I thank God for having a relationship with Jesus. Life and so much of these recent times have been some painful experiences. But thanks be to God, I am still smiling and going for it today! Each week, as we review and pray through our Prayer conference call line, we experience Ministry in a powerful way, we see the “norm” of the unexpected. The pain experienced by those in our church and those we serve are many times overwhelming. Unplanned events and circumstances create a dynamic that can deplete faith, cause discouragement, and stir up doubt. But sisters and brothers know today God is faithful! What do we do when our plans are interrupted, when things don’t go as we had expected? How might we see our interrupted plans or expectations through the “lens” of a loving God? how are we to respond as Christians when life hurts? Be of good cheer and know that our Jesus has overcome the World and will help us overcome whatever will come our way! Have marvelous day!
