Word for the day "Safety in Godly Counsel"

Proverbs 11:14 (KJV) Where no counsel is, the people fall: but in the multitude of counselors there is safety. It’s been my experience that God speaks to us through His Word, His Spirit, and His people. In the times of my life when I’ve needed some course correction, most often I’ve heard His Word coming through someone who cared enough and loved me enough to sit down with me and say, “There’s something you need to change.” Have you ever had this kind of encounter? Are you a teachable person? Today’s word expresses the various ways and methods our God can provide guidance and counsel for us! In other words, you can get more ROI (Return on Investment) from a wise person in one gentle conversation than you can gain from someone who is only interested in imposing their views on you. Have a great day and I am praying for you all!Are you teachable? Ask someone who knows you well for their honest evaluation. And take their response to heart. —James MacDonaldJournal:•          What evidence of being teachable do I have?•          Where is there room for improvement?
