Word for the day "Please love Me"

Ruth 3:9 (MSG)He said, “And who are you?” She said, “I am Ruth, your maiden; take me under your protecting wing. You’re my close relative, you know, in the circle of covenant redeemers; you do have the right to marry me.”I wish someone would “Please love me!” Isn’t this what we all think and feel on the inside? We may not want to admit it for fear of rejection, but we all are hungry for love. Some of us are desperate for affection because of previous hard losses on the matter of love. We gather whatever substitutes we can find to fill that void of love deep inside.Part of the process of turning your life over to God demands developing healthy relationships with people and with God. It’s scary to say to someone, “Please love me.” But it’s worth the risk. If you don’t satisfy your void for love in a legitimate way, you’ll be driven toward depression, anxiety, addictions, or compulsive behaviors. God designed us to love and be loved. Who am I touching today with these words?Take a look at the story of Ruth in the Bible. It’s a great story about a woman who wasn’t afraid to say, “Please love me.”  What the world needs now is love sweet love, have a great weekend and tell somebody you love them!
