Word for the day: "God is not finished with me yet"

Genesis 39:5(NIV) From the time he put him in charge of his household and of all that he owned, the LORD blessed the household of the Egyptian because of Joseph. The blessing of the LORD was on everything Potiphar had, both in the house and in the field. 6 So Potiphar left everything he had in Joseph’s care; with Joseph in charge, he did not concern himself with anything except the food he ate. Now Joseph was well-built and handsome, 7 and after a while his master’s wife took notice of Joseph and said, “Come to bed with me!”Joseph’s brothers did not kill him. The cooler heads of the oldest sons prevailed. Instead, they stripped him of his special coat, and sold Joseph to Midianite traders and into Egyptian slavery. When the brothers returned home, Jacob and little Benjamin were convinced that a wild animal had killed Joseph. His bloodied coat lent credence to the story. Meanwhile, down in Egypt, a prison supervisor named Potiphar purchased Joseph, and the young man began his new life as a slave in the man’s home. Why does God let things like this happen to His chosen?But Joseph was also given a measure of responsibility. In his new home, the young Hebrew was put in charge of Potiphar’s house. Nevertheless, God had plans to refine Joseph’s character and life. Joseph had no sooner become a trusted slave than he was immediately thrust into a furnace of affliction. Potiphar’s wife began to seek sexual favors from Joseph. Despite living a godly life in every respect, Joseph was now made to face the powerful temptation of sexual sin. Joseph was able to endure the temptation although he did experience Potiphar’s wife lying on him and being imprisoned for 2 years because of the accusation, yet the hand of God remained on his life like never before, after this time of temptation and Joseph goes on to become a Pharaoh later.
