Word for the day: "Have faith in God"
Psalm 91:14 (NIV) “Because he [b] loves me,” says the LORD,“I will rescue him; I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name. 15 He will call on me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honor him. 16 With long life I will satisfy him and show him my salvation. ”If life were nothing but a series of defeats, all of us would be living our lives discouraged. But God knows how to balance our lives so that we have good and bad days. And if the truth be told in my life my good days usually out weigh the bad days! On the road of life there are level places that encourage us, and there are difficult places that challenge us. If we get off the path of God’s will and go on a detour life is always tough from start to finish (Say Amen with me).Have you noticed the detour is rougher than the main road? But there are rough spots on the road of God’s choosing, we have to learn to embrace them and learn the lessons embedded in them for our lives. If we are to keep moving forward in the direction of God, we need the vital element called “Faith” in God. I am excited about the opportunity to share this critical truth for your life. Wherever your life maybe at this time sisters and brothers, “Have Faith in God”The secret of moving forward in our lives is to look away from yourself and in the direction where you can find “Faith” in Jesus Christ our Lord (Hebrews 12:2). Surely today Jesus knows where you are, how you feel, and what you can do. So how about it right now people, begin to turn over to Jesus by faith. Look and listen to the promises of today’s word and go forward “ 15 He will call on me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honor him. “Have Faith in God” enjoy your day no matter what.Elder Baker
