Word for the day: "We need Relationships"

Matthew 7:9 (NIV) “Which of you, if your son asks for bread, will give him a stone? 10 Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a snake? 11 If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask himToday’s word encourages you to know God and to know that the Holy Spirit wants the best in our lives. Yes I mean God wants to give you (Us) good things. In fact, He’s hoping you’ll humbly admit that you have needs. Don’t be afraid to ask others for help. Remember, God made us to relate to one another, to love one another. We weren’t made to live life alone. If you’re “the strong one” you are probably the one who lends a hand to everyone and see to it that everyone is taken care of, it’s probably hard for you to let someone know you need help, but you must seek help sometimes it’s vital to your Spiritual growth. The truth of the matter is we need more reciprocal relations in our walk in this life. That is why the idea of relationship is so important to our spiritual realization. The human being is inseparable from the universe: we are and we live in relationships. Yet our relationship with the world is for the most part unknown to us; we are aware of only some of our relationships, especially those which we voluntarily choose. But we live in relationship whether we want to or not, whether we realize it or not. Nothing exists apart from us; everything exists along with us. For a better society to be possible, we all need to learn to live together in harmonious relationships.By the way I thought I’d let each of you know I need your prayers in my life at this time more than ever, so please remember me when you take time to Pray!!! Blessings and Love………………….Elder Baker
