Word for the day: “You got this.”
Job 29:3 (GNT) God was always with me then and gave me light as I walked through the darkness.
GREAT DAY LEADERS,
I know life can be challenging from day to day. But today’s message is to remind you that you can do this with God and some amazing people in your life.
THE LORD WILL ALWAYS BE WITH YOU IN THE DARK PLACES OF YOUR LIFE.
When God takes you to a depth of soul experience, be alert to new truths and new perspectives.
During these times, God often leads us to extraordinary discoveries. It can be a storehouse of unexpected riches for the soul.
Jesus never entertained the idea of removing Himself from the darkness and pain of the world (John 16:33).
Instead, repeatedly in the Gospel accounts, we see a Jesus who intentionally immersed Himself in the darkness of the world around Him.
And sought to bring the light of God’s love into the places where light was most needed.
I BEGAN THE JOURNEY OF WRITING THE DAILY WORD CUP MESSAGES IN THE MIDDLE OF A BROKEN TIME IN MY LIFE.
Today, the devotionals are read daily by hundreds of people, and it is amazing to me. God has revealed to me specialized strategies that have benefited countless others.
Writing has become a critical ministry of God’s work in me. I wouldn't be writing today if I had not gone through many of those dark times. 2022-2023 was an excruciating season in my life, and I’ve continued writing messages from the depths of my trials and triumphs.
IN TODAY’S BIBLE READING, THE PROVERBIAL LEADER NAMED JOB SHARES A WORD FOR OUR LIVES.
While you are in a dark season, remember to live each day to the fullest. We must live each day to the fullest. We can’t live in the past or in the future.
We must live in the moment that God gives us right now. Our time of deliverance will come according to God’s schedule.
Meanwhile, we need to be faithful in doing what God has given us and do our best in the place where the Lord has established us.
It’s essential to surround yourself with positive people who are generally optimistic, hopeful, energized, and strive for excellence.
Being with people who consistently demonstrate these characteristics inspires us to emulate them and creates in us a passion to move forward in life to make a positive difference in the world.
People on the opposing end of the spectrum tend to pull us down. They seem to have a natural propensity to complain, lack resolve, and be highly pessimistic.
These people are toxic and have a way of draining our energy while making us feel like the world is about to crumble beneath us.
Trying to escape the world to maintain personal Godliness is a concept that is nowhere to be found in the life and public ministry of Jesus.
However, I just wanted to remind you that living life to the fullest is your responsibility. It seems in today’s reading, our brother Job embraces this truth.
POINT TO PONDER
When we go through a trial or adversity, we must understand that God is performing radical work in our lives.
The purpose of this work is not to destroy us but to give us His purpose. God is fundamentally changing who we are and who we will be. Walk through the darkness, people of God! Believe me today, you are not walking alone; God is with you, and there are also a few fantastic people with you.
