Word for the day: “The perseverance factor.”

James 1:12 (NKJV) Blessed is the man who perseveres under trial because when he has stood the test, he will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love him.

GREAT DAY LEADERS,

Every leader will experience some days of trial, turbulence, and tribulation, and you must understand that a significant part of leadership is navigating these difficult times and seasons.

We must embrace the reality that leadership, in its truest sense, is for tough moments. We must learn the truth whether we are new in our leadership journey or have been at it for some time. The perseverance factor of leadership is ginormous.

WE ALL NEED TO BE REMINDED OF THE NEED TO PERSEVERE IN LIFE.

I read this story and wanted to share it: Soon after deciding to follow Christ, a young Nigerian named Daniel returned to his Muslim village. He was excited about his new faith; the people of his village were not. Furious at him, the women of the village beat him and left him for dead. When he regained consciousness the following day, he decided he must not have explained his new faith clearly. So, he went back to the village and witnessed it again. The women beat him and left him for dead again.

This time, he remained unconscious for two days. When he awoke, he again assumed he hadn’t expressed himself well. So, he returned a third time. This time, the village women broke into tears at his perseverance, and eventually, the good news of Christ gained a foothold in the women and that place.

AT TIMES, WE CAN BECOME WEARY IN LIFE, BUT BE REMINDED TODAY, “DON’T GIVE UP”.

If you’re weary in your pursuit of being an effective leader or in sharing the good news of Jesus with friends, family, or your kids, take heart this message is for you. Pray for perseverance and watch the Lord give it to you. Perseverance is more than not giving up. It is also persistence and tenacity, the effort required to do something and keep doing it until the end, even if it’s hard.

This makes sense because if you’re doing something despite all the difficulty, you’re exercising perseverance. Unfortunately, many people rob themselves of success because they do not have the perseverance to see their goals through to the end.

However, developing perseverance is not difficult if you’re prepared to put in some effort. Possessing a deep inner belief that you can succeed means that you will never give up on your dreams. You will be equipped with the mentality that your success is approaching. Yes, you may encounter major challenges or possibly defeats along the way, but because you believe that you will eventually succeed, I believe you will make it in the strength of the Lord.

 POINT TO PONDER

Remember, we share Christ through our actions and how we conduct our lives as much as we do with our words. So, I hope you agree your ability to persevere is at the heart of your everyday success.

If you lack perseverance, you will soon realize that nothing is beyond your reach by prayerfully applying today's message and minimal effort. Have an amazing New Year 2025.
