Word for the day "The next pandemic "

We must prepare for the next pandemic because our lives depend on it.

In an effort to continue to fulfill our leadership assignment of being relevant. We need to ensure all of those who subscribe to our blog messages are fully aware of the health concerns in our world and our country.

Please find the most recent updates of the coronavirus in certain areas that has and can possibly affect you and your family. Now is not the time to let your guards down. We are very much still in a pandemic that is killing thousands by the day.

A new coronavirus variant first discovered in South Africa has now been detected in more than 30 countries, including the US. Another variant, first found in Brazil, has shown up in Minnesota.

While all these variants aren’t necessarily surprising, a few of them have scientists worried because they seem to be more transmissible and so could tax health care systems even further.

In a worst-case scenario, they could also evade the protection of vaccines. Scientists are also still trying to figure out how to treat "long COVID-19," a condition in which patients experience prolonged symptoms after their initial infection has passed.

Meanwhile, a team of professionals from the World Health Organization is currently in China, visiting labs, hospitals, and markets to look into the origins of the pandemic.

Pandemic reminder for you and your family.

This is not the time to be in denial and to be negligent in following the tedious guidelines of social distancing protocols. No one needs any more proof that an infectious disease has and could possibly cause great harm to themselves, families, and people we love or shut down the global economy.

Let’s not let our guards down in the practicing and participating of the proper social distancing protocols. Please see our website homepage for pertinent numbers and information that are viable to this adverse time of COVID-19.
