Word for the day: “Post Lent and leadership vignettes”.
Luke 2:46 (NKJV) Now so it was that after three days they found Him in the temple, sitting in the midst of the teachers, both listening to them and asking them questions. 47 And all who heard Him were astonished at His understanding and answers. 48 So when they saw Him, they were amazed; and His mother said to Him, “Son, why have You done this to us? Look, Your father and I have sought You anxiously.” 49 And He said to them, “Why did you seek Me? Did you not know that I must be about My Father’s business?” 50 But they did not understand the statement which He spoke to them. Jesus Advances in Wisdom and Favor 51 Then He went down with them and came to Nazareth, and was [m]subject to them, but His mother kept all these things in her heart. 52 And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and men.
Beloved Leaders,
In this post-Lent season, I’ve discovered this is a fantastic opportunity to grow and manage your life to develop your leadership. “Even Jesus at 12 years of age, understood the essential leadership component of Growth and development.
We read and see Jesus before ministering to needy people or telling them about the Kingdom of God, He took time to lead himself in growth and development, and listen to their concerns so he could connect to their Hearts.
NINE LENT EFFECTIVE LEADERSHIP VIGNETTES:
Leaders are always on the learning curve.
One of the key components to managing loneliness is not to let the feeling of loneliness take control. Loneliness doesn’t have to last forever, nor should it.
Leaders are note-takers (Habakkuk 2:2-3).
Leaders don’t have all the answers, though others may think so. (They have access to people and resources to get the answers.)
Leaders have the favor of God (Luke 2:52).
There will never be a love like God’s love (Romans 8:37-39).
Leaders, when you do what you love, you never work another day in your life.
Don’t forget to pour into yourself today, or as soon as possible, it’s your responsibility.
The enemy of our soul, perhaps, is winning some battles in our life, but make no mistake, God wins the war in your life.
