Word for the day “Looking ahead”

The last year has been more mentally challenging than ever, especially for leaders. So today, let's take a quick review of how you think as a leader. I've discovered there are at least four kinds of thinking that can sabotage your leadership:

  • Not being fully vested in your own leadership journey.

  • Not having a growth mindset motivation in your leadership.

  • Not having a competent person or people to walk alongside you in your leadership process.

  • Not having the right accountability network in your leadership journey (perhaps the most lethal).

If you're curious about what each kind looks like and how to avoid sabotaging what you're doing. Looking Ahead: “It is the capacity to develop and improve their skills that distinguish leaders from followers.” Warren Bennis and Bert Nanus And here's to clear thinking moving forward.

  •  The importance of casting vision during times of crisis.

  • Establishing healthy relational boundaries in leadership, ministry, and business.

  • Taking the time to address personal hardships while leading.
