Word for the day: “Leadership Prayer for subscribers of GATL.”

Beloved Leaders,

Today is the time to lift in prayer all the leaders who subscribe to the Grace and Truth Leadership daily word cup messages. May each of you know you are loved, valued, and cared for, for real.

Amazing God,

I thank you for a new day. I thank you for keeping these your leaders’ lives and protecting them from dangers seen and unseen.  When each of us did not know how we were going to make it, when we felt like giving up, you stepped in right on time.  You saved us time and again from the brink of destruction.  Even as we have walked through the valley of the shadow of Death, we decree today we will fear no evil, for thou art with us.  God, we thank you for staying with us.  Even when each of us didn't deserve it, even when we didn't earn it, even when we turned our backs on you, you never turned your back on us.   And for this, we are grateful. 

Now, God, we today come seeking a breakthrough.   There are some things in our lives and spirits that we want to be released from.  We come before you and ask for your breakthrough power.   We come asking you to break the strongholds over our lives.  Break every yoke of bondage.  Break the yoke of financial poverty.  Break the yoke of sickness and pain.  Break the yoke of bad relationships.  Break the yoke of us doing the same thing over and over.  Break the yoke! in the name of Jesus.   Set each of us free, God.  For we today know who the son sets free is free indeed. 

When this world tries to convince us to doubt you, keep our faith strong.  When we can't see your glory, remind us, please of your promises to each of us.  Remind us of those promises you made long ago, that you would never leave us, that you would never forsake us. This is my prayer: In the incomparable name of Jesus Christ, we pray, Amen.
