Word for the day:” Leaders, your best days are ahead.”

Philippians 3:13 (NKJV) Brethren, I do not count myself to have [d]apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, 14 I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.

 Beloved Leaders,

Today's devotion passage for your reading and learning is relevant for those who perhaps struggle with our past and see ourselves as God sees us. This is one of the most powerful principles in the entire Bible.  God has a way of making things so incredibly real for us, so real and visible that there can be no mistake about what God is saying to us.

THE LORD IS SPEAKING TO US IN THIS LENTEN SEASON.

The Holy Spirit has dealt with me personally in this area of my life, and I have not listened, to be honest with you all today. In fact, the facts are that I have not submitted my life fully to God. I really hope this helps someone today on how to move in obedience to God, not apprehension and disobedience.

The Lord is speaking directly to you and me.  There are some clear instructions you must follow as you enter this next dimension of your life and leadership journey.  I believe with all my heart that God has been preparing you for something special.  There is an outpouring of purpose that you will receive in this season like never before, and one of the most important things you have to do right now is to keep pressing forward no matter how much your struggles in the past try to stop you.

THERE REALLY IS MORE FOR YOU IN THE DAYS AHEAD.

The past has a way of always seeming so much better than it actually was.  That is one of the struggles we must all conquer. You had to leave that relationship, you had to leave that situation alone, you knew that you deserved better than how those people treated you.  But now, as you await your next steps, it can cause fear and impatience. The past and the people of the past can start to look really attractive.  But I pray God's strength would equip you not to look back (Remember Lot’s wife Luke 17:32).  Your blessing is never in what was lost, your blessing is always in what the Lord has in store for you (I Corinthians 2:9).

 Point to Ponder

Today’s message is a clarion reminder that what God has in store for you, will require you to leave your past behind and keep moving forward in your life and leadership journey.
