Word for the day: “Leaders must learn to wait on God.”

Psalm 27:14 (NKJV) Wait[e] on the Lord; Be of good courage, And He shall strengthen your heart; Wait, I say, on the Lord!

Good morning Leaders,

There are times in my life when it can seem like the problems I am facing are insurmountable. Today's leadership message reminds you not to make permanent decisions in temporary spaces. So often, we get comfortable in situations and places that are not meant for us. We get comfortable in relationships and career paths that are beneath our destiny. Today, be sure to take some time to look beyond your present circumstances. God has more in store for you.

LEARN HOW TO WAIT ON GOD IN CHALLENGING TIMES.

One of the biggest mistakes we make is reacting to every bad situation that happens in life. Yet the Bible is clear: " The just shall live by faith"(Habakkuk 2:4). Therefore, trouble, strife, and disappointments are a fact of life. Instead of reacting, we need to develop the internal fortitude to start seeing and believing God’s promises for our lives. We must begin seeing how God orchestrates our mess for a higher purpose.

All you need to do is have faith and begin working towards your goals. It might be difficult along the way, but you’ll discover that what seems overwhelming and burdensome, it's only temporary.  That toxic relationship you are in, it's only temporary, those people who don't understand you, it's only temporary. The trouble knocking at your door, it's only temporary.  Challenging is ever in our journey’s but let’s wait on God.

POINT TO PONDER

I’ve discovered God’s plan for my life is really the best plan, so learning how to wait on God must be embraced in my leadership and life.
