Word for the day: “Leaders, don’t forget to tell your story.”
I Peter 3:15 (NIV) But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect.
Great Day Leaders,
Today’s message is to remind and inform you that your life is not your own. In other words, what you experience may happen to you, whether good or bad. However, what happens to you is not only for you. It’s for the people you will encounter and experience in your walk-through life.
THE LORD'S PURPOSE FOR US IS TO STAND BEFORE OTHERS AND PROCLAIM OUR FAITH.
The stronger your faith, the better you can rise above the inevitable stresses of turbulent times. And the more enthused you are about your faith, the better you can share it. Are you genuinely excited about your faith in God?
And do you make your enthusiasm known to those around you? Or are you a “secret agent” for the Lord?
God’s preference is clear: The Lord intends that you stand before others and proclaim your faith. Genuine, heartfelt Christianity is contagious. Please read today’s passage content again and work at embracing the context of the message.
If you enjoy a life-altering relationship with God, that relationship will impact others, perhaps even make a profound impact.
WE MUST ALWAYS BE READY TO GIVE A REASON FOR OUR HOPE IN THE LORD.
God wants you to be able to tell your story because the word of your testimony and the power of your story are witnesses of the Lord’s divine empowerment.
It’s probably the most powerful way you’ll ever share His love with people and those you care about.
You’ll be amazed by how your witness of what the Lord has done in your life can impact the lives of family, friends, and even your foes.
Whether you are at a sports event, sitting with a family member, or standing in front of a group of people, the Bible calls us to “always be ready” to explain our hope in Christ with gentleness and respect (1 Peter 3:15 NIV).
I used to listen to a radio broadcast called The Bible Answer Man hosted by Hank Hanegraaff.
Hank always emphasized the need to give a reason for our hope in the Lord with gentleness, love, and respect.
POINT TO PONDER
Today, more than ever before, you may notice athletes who use their sports platform to share Christ, such as C.J. Stroud, Lamar Jackson, Immanuel Quickley, and many more.
Does Christ reign over your life? Then, share your testimony and your excitement. The world needs both; let’s recommit and make the impact necessary for the Lord.
Many times, sharing our faith in God is how we live our lives before people. It’s not always about saying something to people; it’s more about living something before people.
PRAYER:
Dear Lord, let me be an enthusiastic participant in life. Let my enthusiasm bring honor and glory to You for the rest of my life. Amen.
