Word for the day "Attitude determines your Altitude"
Philippians 4:8 (HCSB) Finally brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable—if there is any moral excellence and if there is any praise—dwell on these things. 9 Do what you have learned and received and heard and seen in me, and the God of peace will be with you.
Just wanted to remind you of the significance of your attitude.
What’s your attitude today? Are you fearful, angry, bored, or worried? Are you pessimistic, perplexed, pained, and perturbed? Are you walking around complaining with a frown on your face that’s almost as big as the one in your heart? If so, God wants to have a little talk with you.God created you in His own image, and He wants you to experience joy, contentment, peace, and abundance. But God will not force you to experience these things; you must claim them for yourself.I don’t know who I am talking to but I know you see today’s message? Your attitude determines your altitude!God has given you free will, including the ability to influence the direction and tone of your thoughts. Here’s how God wants you to direct those thoughts: Read today’s Word again. Finally brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable—if there is any moral excellence and if there is any praise, dwell on these things” (Philippians 4:8 HCSB).The quality of your attitude will help determine the quality of your life. So, the next time you find yourself dwelling upon the negative aspects of your life, refocus your attention on things positive. The next time you find yourself falling prey to the negative reality of pessimism, stop yourself and turn your thoughts around.
Attitude is everything when it comes to the highs and lows of life.
The late great Zig Ziglar said, "It's your attitude, not your aptitude that will determine your altitude." Attitude is one of the most important elements in helping you get through the highs and lows of life.Since attitude spells how a person copes, whatever perspective you may hold will invariably have an effect on your performance and the way you handle disappointment, discouragement, and despair.Attitude is everything when it comes to achieving a goal, and managing a setback or problem in life. A positive attitude also goes a long way in ensuring you come out victorious from whatever limitations that were holding you back in times past.Attitude transforms not just your mental state, but your physical and emotional well-being. So, always remember in life when you can be intentional about having the right attitude, you can soar to great heights in life’s journey.
Point to ponder
The next time you’re tempted to waste valuable time loathing or complaining, resist those temptations with all your might. Be advised your attitude determines your altitude, let’s go you have your whole life in front of you.Today’s Prayer: Father, create in me a grateful heart and a positive attitude by focusing on opportunities, not obstacles. As I consider my disappointments, help me to see them as your appointments. I thank you that all things work together for good to those who love you and are called according to your will. In Christ's name, Amen.
