Ezekiel 44:9 (NLT) “So this is what the Sovereign Lord says: No foreigners, including those who live among the people of Israel, will enter my sanctuary if they have not been circumcised and have not surrendered themselves to the Lord.

Perhaps it’s time to surrender our lives fully to the Lord.

Some people go through life excusing their shortcomings because of some disadvantages they’ve had stacked against them.

Others have grown up in great families and circumstances of great advantage and privilege.

Many of these folks have had less in their lives to overcome and less occasion to stumble.

Today’s message places emphasis on whatever you have gone through in life to be where you are, it’s time to surrender yourself to the Lord.

If you are one who hasn’t had advantage benefits and you’ve had a disadvantage or two to overcome, you may feel angry, resentful, and even ashamed as a result.

If so, I have two important things to say to you: first, your feelings are certainly understandable.

Second, despite the fact that your resentful feelings may be justified, you simply must let go of those feelings or they will slowly consume your life.

The challenge of letting go and letting God is difficult but worth it.

Letting go is so simple and at the same time so hard to do. Daily as people, we all face the same challenge, the challenge to surrender ourselves to the Lord.

But today perhaps you would consider now is the time.

Time to surrender your will, your power, your bitter and angry feelings of resentment towards people, and even of God for many of us.

To surrender in spirituality and religion means that a believer completely gives up his/her own will and subjects their thoughts, ideas, and deeds to the will and teachings of a higher power.

It may also be contrasted with submitting your life under the governance of God. Surrender to God, it’s a term you may have heard, but what does it mean, in the grand scheme of today’s message.

Point to ponder

Surrender is not a word often associated with positive actions. In fact, surrender in the name of the law typically means trouble for someone.

And we know that when one side surrenders to another in battle, it’s a sign they’ve given up any hope for victory.

But in spiritual matters, victory through Christ is possible for our lives if we choose to surrender to God whatever has a stronghold on us (Psalm 41:11 NKJV).

With God, even if you don’t really want to surrender, you will discover the genuine, eternal satisfaction that can only come from surrendering to God.

Surrender yourself so the Lord’s promised Holy Spirit can come and fill the void in your life today!Quote-  “I believe, no one who surrenders to the Lord will be sorry” James Baker, Jr.Prayer – Heavenly Father, I completely surrender all my life to You! I adore You, for You are mighty and all-powerful, worthy of all my praise. Amen.
