Word for the day "We are chosen"
I Peter 2:9 (NIV) But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.
In this unprecedented time, the Lord must be our first choice.
Each new day presents countless opportunities to put God in the first place, or not. When we honor God by living according to the Lord’s commandments, we earn for ourselves the abundance and peace that the Lord promises.
But, when we concern ourselves more with pleasing ourselves, and others than with pleasing our Creator, we bring needless suffering upon ourselves and our families. (I teach this truth to the Ministry the Lord has made me serve and lead)
Make God a vital part of your journey.
So today, take every step of your journey with God as your traveling companion. Support only those activities that further God’s kingdom and your spiritual growth.
Be an example of righteous living to your friends, to your neighbors, and to your children.
Then, reap the blessings that God has promised to all those who live according to His will and His Word.
The organization I have now Grace and Truth Leadership our purpose is to love and serve God and to love and serve people.
Since the greatest and second greatest commandments are involved in these things, we know they are important to God (Mark 12:30-31).
So perhaps the best thing we can do today is take an honest, and purposeful look at the way we love others, allow what we see to have its effect on us, and ask God what would He have us do in response. (Philippians 2:12 NKJV)
Point to Ponder
Oswald Chambers, the author of the Christian classic devotional texted... My Utmost for His Highest, advised, “Never support an experience which does not have God as its source, and faith in God as its result.”
These words serve as a powerful reminder that, as people of God, we are called to serve, walk with God, and obey His commandments.
But we live in a world that presents us with countless temptations to do our own thing in Ministry and in our personal lives.
Prayer- Dear Lord, please help we your people honor you in everything we say and do today. Help us to live our lives as an extension of your Kingdom plan for the World and Nations. And you get all the Glory Lord, Amen!
