Word for the day "God's healing plan for your life"

John 11:4 (NLT) But when Jesus heard about it he said, “Lazarus’s sickness will not end in death. No, it happened for the glory of God so that the Son of God will receive glory from this.” 5 So although Jesus loved Martha, Mary, and Lazarus, 6 he stayed where he was for the next two days. 7 Finally, he said to his disciples, “Let’s go back to Judea.”

The healing we need for our lives is a process that will take some time.

Have you ever noticed that Healing is a process that won’t be rushed? It’s a slow process most of the time in my experience.

And if you accept that, it will take the pressure off of you to finish it up. The Lord literally works in our lives in a methodical way.

It just takes some time for many of us to be positioned right in the plan of God.

God desires for you to pay attention to your process and His creation in your life each day.

When you race through life doing everything as fast as you can, you miss some pretty awesome things along the way.

Every challenge, every growth opportunity, every surprise that comes your way is an opportunity for you to look for God.

So, healing can be a process, and there can be nothing else that needs to be done other than to continue your journey.

I think that a lot of people give up because they get overwhelmed.

Some give up because in some cases those that pray for them transfer guilt and spiritual abuse on them for not having enough “faith”.

Faith is important, but it isn’t the only thing that determined if Jesus would heal someone (John 9: 1-3 NIV).

Healing requires embracing your pain, hurt, and despair to the extent that you are literally bitter or better.

If you are in this place now, I encourage you to embrace your pain, hurt, and despair as difficult as it can be.

Don’t be in denial about what still needs to be healed but watch for areas of improvement and progress.

Celebrate each victory and days of release. Practice rejoicing and moving each second, minute, hour, day, forward.

That’s what God is doing over you. The Lord is not counting how many times you are frustrated, angry, or in pain.

The Lord is watching and pushing you to see how many times you get up again. That’s how I believe God sees us. That’s what God is doing over us in the heavens.

The Lord is calling the angels over to come and to help us and see how much better we are becoming.

They are all cheering every time we get up and try again. So, be mindful of counting your frustrations because it’s a part of our process to become better, not bitter.

Yes, it’s just part of the process of learning how to become the person we were created to be. God doesn’t expect perfection from us.

I don’t proclaim to have all the answers to your situation. But I do believe in my heart of hearts that the Lord wants you, and I to be healed, delivered, and set free. “Healed to become Better”!

Point to ponder

Healing can be slow, but it doesn’t mean you are not growing. Allow the Lord to take you through your process in a way that you recognize His healing plan in your life.

I hope you are having a great Lenten season, after all, that’s why our Lord went to Calvary, so we could get back up again!

• Do you believe the Lord believes in you?
• Could you use some perspective changes?
• Are you becoming Better or Bitter?
• Did you know the Lord has sent angels to minister and help you?
• Is it time to pray for your own healing?
