Word for the day "The joy of serving others"

Matthew 6:3 (NKJV) But when you do a charitable deed, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, 4 that your charitable deed may be in secret; and your Father who sees in secret will Himself reward you openly.

There is great joy in serving others.

Has someone ever done something special for you anonymously? Didn’t it make you feel wonderful?

There is great joy in helping others, I really love helping others that’s one of the reason’s I send out Word Cup devotionals 3 days a week.

I sincerely pray we are helping each of you with these messages inspired by the Lord.

When was the last time you did something special for someone else without taking credit for the effort?

You would be amazed at how something simple can be such a blessing, not only to the receiver but also to you.

It’s time now to be the best people we can be on our road to destiny: Make that call to someone, give that gift, write that letter, spend that time.

It really is more of a blessing to give than to receive (Acts 20:35).

Make a habit of doing a secret kindness for someone each and every day. Not only will you be able to shed happiness on others, but you, too, will surely be blessed.

I am excited about what the Lord is doing for many of you reading the weekly devotionals; we love you here at Grace and Truth leadership.

It is my experience that giving and blessings are gifts that come directly from the Lord. The Lord is a giver (John 3:16).

When we give, we are being like the Lord. Therefore, as we give for the needs of others, we are blessed to serve and provide in the same way we receive from our Lord.

This is an amazing process of reciprocity like none other that I’ve experienced.

I sincerely believe and have experienced when we give, we open the door to more blessings from the Lord.

Point to ponder

Finally, our giving means we have already been blessed by the Lord. We don’t have to be the recipient who needs; we can be the blessed person of God who is able to give to others.

There is great joy in giving to others and I hope this message inspires you to help others and possibly help us to give to others.
