Word for the day "Perseverance Reminder"

James 1:12 Blessed is the man who perseveres under trial because when he has stood the test, he will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love him.

We all need to be reminded of making the decision to persevere in life.

I read this story and wanted to share it: Soon after making a decision to follow Christ, a young Nigerian named Daniel returned to his Muslim village.

He was excited about his new faith; the people of his village were not. Furious at him, the women of the village beat him and left him for dead.

When he regained consciousness the following day, he decided he must not have been clear in explaining his new faith.

So, he went back to the village and witnessed again. The women beat him and left him for dead again.

This time he remained unconscious for two days. When he awoke, he again assumed he hadn’t expressed himself well. So, he returned a third time.

This time the village women broke into tears at his perseverance, and eventually, the good news of Christ gained a foothold in that place.

At times we can become weary in life, but don’t give up.

If you’re weary in sharing the good news of Jesus with friends, family, or your kids, take heart.

Pray for perseverance and watch the Lord give it to you. Perseverance is not giving up.

It is persistence and tenacity, the effort required to do something and keep doing it until the end, even if it’s hard.

This makes sense because if you’re doing something despite all the difficulty, you’re being strict on yourself.

Unfortunately, many people rob themselves of any success because they do not have the perseverance to see their goals through.

However, developing perseverance is not difficult to do if you’re prepared to put in some effort.

Possessing a deep inner belief that you can succeed simply means that you will never give up on your dreams.

You will be equipped with the mentality that your success is just around the corner.

Yes, you may encounter major challenges or possibly defeats along the way, but because you have a belief that you will eventually succeed, I believe you will make it in the strength of the Lord.

Point to ponder

Remember, we share Christ by our actions and how we conduct our lives, as much as we do with our words.

So, I hope you agree, your ability to persevere is at the heart of your everyday success.

If perseverance is something you lack, then by prayerfully applying today’s message and a minimal amount of effort you will soon realize that nothing is beyond your reach.

Have an amazing Holy-season!!
