Word for the day "The Lord wants you to be part of the solution"

Mark 6:37a (NKJV) But He answered, You give them something to eat.

Always remember to be part of the solution to any problem.

Has anyone ever asked you to do something that seems totally ridiculous? The very suggestion of their instruction may have brought laughter or even anger for proposing the idea.

It’s one thing to see and discuss problems when they arise, but it’s quite another thing to provide the solution to the problem. Today God wants you to help solve the problem in your sphere of influence.

I imagine that the disciples may have felt this way when Jesus responded with this comment when they asked him how they were going to feed the 5000, who had stayed around to hear him speak.

The disciples suggested a logical answer to the problem, “Send the people away so they can go to the surrounding countryside and villages and buy themselves something to eat” (Mk 6:36).

That wasn’t the answer Jesus wanted. Our Lord saw the need of the people. He had compassion on them.

Jesus clearly wanted to solve the problem with a Kingdom response, not logic. The Master asked them what they had in their hand.

The solution to our problems always begins with what we already have.

So often what we already have in our hand is what Jesus wants us to use to solve our problems. We must add faith to what we already have in our hand.

Then we will see the gospel of the Kingdom manifested to solve problems in a supernatural way. Jesus wanted to meet a need in which God would receive the glory.

Sending the people away did not meet the need, nor did it bring glory to the Father. It's been my experience that God works best when we are actively engaged in our own rescue.

Always begin your own rescue and problem solving with trusting in God to do the amazing (Mark 11:22 NKJV). Remember the woman in ( II Kings 4:1-7) Who's husband died and left her and her two sons desolate and in debt.

The man of God Elisha came and literally inducted her in her own rescue (Read carefully II Kings 4: 2-7).

He asked her what did she have in her house and she indicated she only had a jar of oil. But little did she know that the jar of oil was significant to her own rescue.

The man of God told her to go borrow from her neighbors some empty vessels please notice empty vessels.

She then was instructed to go back home with her sons and close the door and use the one jar of oil she had to fill the borrowed empty vessels with her sons.

The woman did as she was instructed and the oil in the jar she already had in her house filled all the vessels she borrowed and enabled her to pay all her debt and be made whole along with her sons to her debtors.

The Lord is saying the same thing to you and me today. The Lord is asking what do we have to work with to solve the problems of our families, marriages, communities, educational systems, youth, Churches, and our World.

Do not settle for the gospel of salvation only. Jesus came that we might experience the gospel of the Kingdom in its fullest sense.

Our job is to look past our logical reasoning and see how God might want to solve our problem in a supernatural way.

When you're feeling frustrated and overwhelmed, this is the perfect time to take a big step back, change your mindset, and tap into your trusted source with God to solve the problems you're experiencing.

Point to ponder-

• What problem are you facing that needs to be solved?
• Remember to work with what you have.
• Don’t ever start to solve problems by saying what you don’t have.
• Don’t ever say, how is this going to get done?
• Always say, this is what we are going to do?
• Please remember this is not semantics, this is problem-solving.
