Word for the day "Ready for your Due season"

Galatians 6:9 (NKJV) And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.

Making sense of “Due Season” adds value to our life’s journey.

Brothers and sisters this is a very familiar passage of scripture for our reflection today. Yet what is meant by Due Season in verse 9, I will endeavor to articulate:

So here we go, I can hold off fainting or giving up if I know my time is due to come up. I just want to shed some insight into this biblical passage in the simplest way possible.

We know a woman pregnant has a “due date”. She knows about when the day will come for the expected delivery of her beloved child.

In today’s reading let’s connect this to today’s message “Due Season”. Another way to see this conceptually is; we are all born with an appointed due date of life by the Hand of God our “Due season”!

We know if we have any account outstanding, there is a due date, the money should come. Another way to see this conceptually is; whatever God has for us is for us, and it would be in our best interest to position ourselves so the Lord can Bless us in an optimal way, we call this our “Due Season”.

Due season is a kingdom principle that can work in every area of your life.

We also know that if an apple tree blooms and sets fruit in “Due Season” there will be apples. Now, this is a Kingdom principle of God that works in every area of our lives, whether you are a child of God or not?

Yes, I said it whether you are a child of God or not! But can you imagine when you position yourself as a child of God (Ephesians 3:20), beyond your wildest dreams is your “Due Season”.

In the natural realm or sense, we know all these things. Yet in the spiritual realm and sense, there is less manifest evidence of a fullness of time indicator.

Due Season represents, Kairos is the Greek word for “Your specific season, Due Season, God’s appointed time for you, your delivery date, expectation, defining moment.

Oftentimes it can be hard to continue to do the right thing when we are being hard pressed or challenged in critical areas of our lives.

But in God’s divine timing, we too will experience the ‘Due Season” if we do not grow weary in doing good. In fact, it is tempting to become cynical and give up.

It is important that during times of crisis and challenge that the child of God always seek to do that which is right. We are told, "not to grow weary in well doing."

Why? What's the use? The promise is made: "For in due season we shall reap." (Galatians 6:9).

Point to ponder

Yet there is one other significant imperative family of God: If we faint not if we don’t give up or waver, we will see the revelation of the Glory of God in our lives called “Due Season”.

I can think of others who gave up; they grew weary of doing good and missed out on their time purpose and fulfillment.

The Bible has a few examples for us, but more importantly allow today’s message to be the impetus that causes you to keep going especially when the stakes are extremely high.

The stakes are high because it's our lives and our family’s lives in the balance. Have an amazing day great people of God.

  • What does Due season look like for you?
  • If you are challenged to not quit, means you are doing something.
  • Do you recognize when you are weary?
  • How do you handle times of being worn down by life?
  • Is today’s message relevant to your life?
  • Are you ready for your Due season?
