Word for the day "Flawed people and God"

^{I Samuel 2:35 (NKJV)} Then I will raise up for Myself a faithful priest who shall do according to what is in My heart and in My mind. I will build him a sure house, and he shall walk before My anointed forever.

The Lord has the need for all people, especially those who are willing to serve.

 What is God calling you to do? We must remember that God doesn’t call the equipped, the Lord equips the called.

od is not waiting for you to learn something new or even become something that you’re not already.

God is looking for willing people that want to turn this world upside down for Him. Most of the time we think we don’t have enough time or enough skills to do what God has called us to do.

Often, we think that God has called a few special people into service, like the ministers and a few spiritually deep folks—while the rest of us are somewhere not worthy to be a part of God’s service.

So rather than ministering to others’ needs, we pass them on to others. All I can say is that if the Lord can use me, then there is hope for you.

God can use anyone especially those who are flawed.

You also might feel that because you’re so flawed that God can’t really use you anyway. So, you forfeit the blessings that come from ministering to others because you believe God uses only the real and perfect, the almost perfect, or those he called into ordained ministry.

But it’s all good because that means when you look back a months or years from now, you’ll know that the only way you are where you are is only because of God’s grace.

Looking back, you will reflect on all the people you affected on your journey with God and know that it was Him, and not you, that changed their lives.

In my life, as well as in my reading of the Bible, I’ve seen God use anybody who gave Him access to their lives.

God often uses those of us who have major faults and flaws, or who have been through a great deal of hardship, to accomplish things for His kingdom.

Flawed leaders such as: Noah, Moses, Abraham, Sarah, Rahab, Deborah, David, were all used in significant ways by the Lord.

No one is too messed up for God to use, and no assignment is too insignificant to matter to God.

Don’t miss opportunities to share and minister to others, especially if you have flaws and weaknesses.

Just give the Lord access to use you. You won’t just bless others, you’ll be blessed in the process.

Point to ponder

Remember: God uses “Flawed people”! Moses the shepherd, Daniel the captive slave, Peter and John the fishermen, Rahab the prostitute, and the Lord wants to use you!

God will use you! Give your heart and your life over to Jesus Christ, be filled with the Holy Spirit, and go forth with excitement, in His power, to minister to this world effectively for Him.

I love the stories in the Scripture where people are called by God to do something special for him. These people are just like you and me, just common, “Flawed people.
