Word for the day "Are you ready for Love?"
I Corinthians 13:4 (NIV) Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5 It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.8 Love never fails.
God does not intend for you to experience mediocre relationships.
The Lord created you for far greater things. Building lasting relationships requires compassion, wisdom, empathy, kindness, courtesy, and forgiveness. If that sounds a lot like work, it is, which is perfectly fine with God. The probing question is? Are you ready for genuine love? Why? Because the Lord knows that you are capable of doing that work and because God knows that the fruits of your labors will enrich the lives of your loved ones and the lives of generations yet to come. The only thing stopping you and me is; are we ready to do the work? Love is great to have in our lives but love requires some intimate work.
Point to ponder-
Are you ready for genuine love in your life? Then you must understand this: Genuine love requires some committed work. That's why those who live in apathy as related to love are often unfulfilled in love, most of the time!
