Word for the day "A Success Perspective"
II Samuel 15:25b-26 (NKJV) If I find favor in the eyes of the LORD, He will bring me back and show me both it and His dwelling place. 26 But if He says thus: ‘I have no delight in you,’ here I am, let Him do to me as seems good to Him.”
Always remember the Lord is the sustaining force behind the scenes of your success.
There are times when you may feel as if you are on top of the world. You may feel as though your struggle with sin is licked for good.In such times, it’s tempting to relax and neglect your relationship with God. But then life surprises you with an unexpected problem, and you come to your senses.Recognize that you are never so spiritually right that you can afford to neglect your relationship with God. (Now this is a 21st-century message, that the Lord keeps dealing with me about)Take it from a good man who went before you. King David had reached the pinnacle of political success.He killed giants, won battles, captured the hearts of the people, and overcame enemies on every side.While he was in this comfortable position, life surprised him with the rebellion of his own son.
Successful people learn how to handle the challenges of life.
Life won’t always go the way you want it to, but when it comes down to it, you have the same 24 hours in the day as everyone else does.Successful people make their time matter. Instead of complaining about how things could have been or should have been, they reflect on everything they must be grateful for.Then they find the best solution available, work through the problem and move on.It may have been that David, in the midst of his success, had fallen out of the habit of relying on God day by day.But he quickly placed his life back in God’s hands after the rebellion. God did protect him and returned him to the throne in Jerusalem.However, his son of rebellion Absalom died and David lived with that hurt for the rest of his life. (Read the story from II Samuel Chapter 13 through Chapter 18).
Successful people learn how to believe in themselves by any means necessary.
Believing in yourself is arguably the toughest of all and dealing with the fact that not everyone is going to be supportive.In fact, some might look down upon what you’re doing, or try to convince you that you’re wrong, are wasting your time and aren’t headed in a good direction.The reason this ends up being such a challenge is that these people are usually people you care about.In David’s case, he had all types of family and other rejection concerns from key figures in his life.Lack of belief is an emotional component that takes a lot of time to understand and overcome.But ask anyone who has built something truly extraordinary, and they’ll tell you that, in the beginning, not everyone will believe in you.However, you must believe in God and in yourself by any means necessary. Learning how to believe in yourself will open up endless possibilities in and for your life.At times you may find this difficult to do. Everything you have in your life is a result of your belief in yourself and the belief that it’s possible for you and your destiny.
Point to ponder
When life hits you with the unexpected, let it be a reminder that your life needs to be in God’s hands continually.I believe God for you and in this life-changing Success practice in and for your life great family of God!!
