Romans 8:26-28 (MSG) Meanwhile, the moment we get tired in the waiting, God’s Spirit is right alongside helping us along. If we don’t know how or what to pray, it doesn’t matter. He does our praying in and for us, making prayer out of our wordless sighs, our aching groans. He knows us far better than we know ourselves, knows our pregnant condition, and keeps us present before God. That’s why we can be so sure that every detail in our lives of love for God is worked into something good.

We must remember how easy it is to live our lives without the Lord.

Living our daily lives with activity and busyness puts us in dangerous territory.Aside from making us emotionally unstable and physically exhausted, it’s also threatening to make us both intellectually and spiritually deficient. We are either making our lives with or without the help of the Lord?

We can take four intentional steps to making life happen with the Lord on our side.

Please hear my heart today family, I am not suggesting you live a passive life.Nor am I suggesting there’s a dichotomy between being and making it happen. But making it happen in life with God requires some compelling steps:

  • Making it happen without the Lord creates and perpetuates the myth that we’re in control; Making it happen with God acknowledges that God’s in control.
  • Making it happen with the Lord commits us to safety and acknowledges that the life with the Lord is one of faith-and that means one of risk.
  • Making it happen without the Lord activates spiritual pride; making it happen with the Lord produces humility.
  • Making it happen without the Lord is about reactionary response; making it happen with the Lord is about thoughtfully, prayerfully, and intentionally bringing connecting with God in each aspect of our lives.

Trusting when the timing is right the Lord will make it happen for you.

If you were to ask me what I struggle most with in life, it's trusting in God's timing and the Lord’s magnificent plan for me.Not being able to see where the road I’m currently on will lead to can erupt feelings of apprehension within me.When this happens, I try my hardest to rest assure in the simple fact that God has every aspect of my life planned for my good.Knowing that God has everything under control and that God is ultimately holding our lives in His hands can clear our minds to be able to more fully trust in the Lord. From my personal experiences in life, there have been countless times when I thought I had traveled too far off from the path that God had laid out for me, or I had started to believe there was no way I would get through a particular hardship. In each one of these circumstances, God pulled through with his glorious plan, replacing whatever I had lost with something far greater than I could've ever imagined or thought (Ephesians 3:20).
