Word for the day "Effective Communication"
I Thessalonians 5:11 (KJV) Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing. The power of effective communication can never be overstated. We have all seen and even experienced the destruction of families, relationships, employment, marriages, ministries, etc., as a result of destructive communication. I urge all of our subscribers today to begin the process of learning how to constructively communicate in this next dimension of your life. Here are just a few insights:
- Learn the gift of lifting up family, friends, and casual acquaintances through communication.
- Begin reading books and attending instructive venues on best communication practices.
- Begin to view each person you encounter as one to be treated with honor, respect, and love, this applies even to children, subordinates, and those who you may feel can offer you very little in return.
- Leadership is always about relational empowerment which is best realized through effective communication.
Embracing and recognizing your own flaws in communication is the path to effective communication. The truth of the matter is all people have issues with communication. However, in order to be the best person you can possibly be, effective communication will position you to accomplish this power step in your life.I challenge you today to do whatever you need to do accomplish effectively communicating with your families, friends, coworkers, and even God.Point to ponder- We need to ask God to help us communicate effectively and in such a way that brings life. We need to work on expressing what's in our hearts in a way that blesses the people we encounter, have an amazing day!Our Leadership team is especially thankful for those of you who provided financial donations and support in the month of March 2018 by partnering with us in efforts to advance the kingdom of God in this 21st century season: Special thanks to Mr. William Wilson, Ms. Annette Straker, Mr. David Straker, Mr. Kenneth Washington, Ms. Gloria Teel, Ms. Yvonne Bazemore, and Ms. Gertrude Scott.
