Word for the day "Let the record reflect"

John 19:28 (MSG) Jesus, seeing that everything had been completed so that the Scripture record might also be complete, then said, “I’m thirsty.”As we make our way through this life, a great deal of information follows us: birth records, academic information, medical history, work history, credit history, and so on. If all that information were good, no one would mind having it recorded. It’s the negative information we have a problem with. We would prefer to keep it hidden or, better yet, have it erased. But have you ever tried to have a piece of negative information deleted from your records? Even if it’s erroneous, getting it removed can be extremely difficult. It can follow you around, accusing you, for the rest of your life. I have experienced this challenge in several areas of my life. With that in mind, look again at what Jesus did to clear the record of your sin. Had the Lord chosen not to die on the cross, your failures would have followed you around for eternity, and your sin would have separated you from God forever. Instead, because of Jesus’ sacrifice, all record of your sin has been wiped clean. You can now stand holy and blameless before the Lord as though you had never sinned. It’s that fresh start that ultimately makes it possible for you to take your life back! Our Leadership team is especially thankful for those of you who provided financial donations and support in the month of August  2017 by partnering with us in efforts to advance the kingdom of God in this 21st century season: Special thanks to Mr. William Wilson, Mr. David Straker, Mrs. Annette Straker, Mrs. Marguerite Williams, Ms. Gertrude Scott, and Shakeema Lowe.
