Word for the day "You don't have to conform"

Romans 12:2 (NKJV) And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.Few things in life come easier than giving in to the pressure to be like everyone else. And even fewer things are more dangerous. Resistance requires strength and self-assurance. Today’s message is for our youth, mentors, mentees, and leaders of any kind! “You don’t have to conform”.Self-assurance that you know God accepts you and loves you just as you are. You don’t need to wear the latest fashions, have the hair color and style of the day, or drive the make and model of car you think will satisfy that yearning to be in the in-crowd. There’s truly only one thing that satisfies, and that is a right relationship with God. Are you in right relationship with God today? If you are great, and if you are not it’s not too late!Point to ponder: You could make the argument that we live in a troubled society. And if that’s the case, then adopting the values and priorities of our society would make us-by virtue of definition-troubled as well, wouldn’t it? Then why do we give in to the pressure to conform to those values and priorities? We often refer to it as peer, or societal pressure. At the end of the day, you don’t have to conform great family of God.Prayer- Dear God, I thank you that you are enough for me. Help me (us), Lord to be transformed by your Holy Spirit so that the world might see You in me (us). And Lord someone right now desires to accept you in their lives today, by faith we count it all done right now in Jesus name, Amen. Our Leadership team is especially thankful for those of you who provided financial donations and support in the month of November 2016 by partnering with us in efforts to advance the kingdom of God in this 21st century season: Special thanks to Mr. William Wilson, Mr. Kenneth Washington, Ms. Sylvia Meza, Mrs. Denise Johnson, Mrs. Barbara Mason, Mable Bazemore, Ms. Sheron Farrow  and Ms. Gertrude Scott.
