Word for the day "See the Heart of God"

Mark 8:22 (NKJV) Then He came to Bethsaida; and they brought a blind man to Him, and begged Him to touch him. 23 So He took the blind man by the hand and led him out of the town. And when He had spit on his eyes and put His hands on him, He asked him if he saw anything.24 And he looked up and said, “I see men like trees, walking.”25 Then He put His hands on his eyes again and made him look up. And he was restored and saw everyone clearly. There are so many times in our life, when we will have things go wrong or in a way that is not in our best interest it seems. At some point we will be faced with this critical reality in life. But I have discovered the wisdom of looking for the Heart of God when I am unable to trace the Hand of God. Do you look for God’s Heart when you can’t trace His Hand?If you are busy looking for all the things that can go wrong, you are sure to miss the blessings God has prepared for you. Besides, life is too short to dwell on the gloom and doom. As believers our hope is in our Savior, no matter what our circumstance, The Lord walks beside us, The Lord fights our battles and the Lord goes before us in everything. Our hope is not in the arm of flesh, it rests on the mighty and powerful arm of God. Take your eyes off the gloom and focus them on the Lord. The Apostle Paul say it this way: “What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?” (Romans 8:31).Often we are surrounded by people who have the inability to see the good of life, because sometimes the tough days are so severe. I have been intentional about surrounding myself with people that are able to see the Heart of God even in bad days. Who are you surrounded by? Your surroundings are often an indication of your mindset, be certain you know the difference! Read today’s Word and see to it that you look again like Jesus told the blind man to do after the blind man was healed.Point to ponder: Let’s remember the words of that old hymn: “Count your blessings, name them one by one, count your blessings, see what God has done!”Follow me on Twitter @Elder James Baker, as I endeavor to encourage and empower leaders of today and tomorrow! Our Leadership team is especially thankful for those of you who provided financial donations and support in the month of September 2016 by partnering with us in efforts to advance the kingdom of God in this 21st century season: Special thanks to Mr. William Wilson, Ms. Sylvia Meza and Ms. Gertrude Scott.
