Word for the day "Hid in my Heart"

Psalm 137:11 (KJV) Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee. What sorts of things find their way into your heart and mind? If you're exposing yourself to a constant onslaught of ungodly words, music, or images, you're not taking full responsibility for your life. You can fill your heart and mind with God's Word, and when you do, you'll create a defense against some of the evil messages the world so frequently sends your way. We that are in relationship with the Lord have been given the responsibility to guard our heart and to keep track of the things we hide inside it. So, what's in there? Hurt? Lust? Envy or even the internet web dangers ? Are you harboring bitterness? Greed? Are you envious of others? If you are struggling with these things maybe it's because you have more of the wisdom of this age in your heart than the true wisdom of God. Are you having a hard time finding God and following His ways? Time for a heart check-up between you and God. What do you have hid in your heart?Point to ponder- Holding onto God's word in your heart will foster spiritual growth by guarding against those things that hurt you and displease God. And live in such a way to be productive person in the Kingdom of God and our everyday living. Our Leadership team is especially thankful for those of you who provided financial donations and support in the month of July 2016 by partnering with us in efforts to advance the kingdom of God in this 21st century season: Special thanks to Mr. William Wilson, Ms. Gertrude Scott,  Mr. Kenneth Washington, Ms. Norma Hernandez, and Ms. Vanessa Gaskins.
