Word for the day "Procrastination"
Ecclesiastes 5:4 (NLT) When you make a promise to God, don’t delay in following through, for God takes no pleasure in fools. Keep all the promises you make to him. 5 It is better to say nothing than to make a promise and not keep it.When turbulent times arrive, it's easy (and tempting) to avoid those tough tasks that you would prefer to avoid altogether. But the habit of procrastination takes a double toll: First, important work goes unfinished, and second, valuable energy is wasted in the process of putting off the things that remain undone. If you find yourself hindered by the chains of procrastination, ask yourself what you are you waiting for-or more accurately what you're afraid of-and why?As you examine the emotional obstacles that have, blocked your path, you may discover that you're waiting for the "perfect" moment, that instant in time when you feel neither afraid nor anxious. But in truth, perfect moments like these are few and far between. I encourage you today to stop waiting for the perfect moment and focus, instead, on finding the right moment to do what needs to be done. Then, trust God and get busy. Once you acquire the habit of doing what needs to be done when it needs to be done, you will avoid unforeseen trouble, worry, and stress.Point to ponder- So learn to defeat procrastination by paying less attention to your fears and more attention to your responsibilities. In other words, life doesn't procrastinate and neither should you!Our Leadership team is especially thankful for those of you who provided financial donations and support in the month of June 2016 by partnering with us in efforts to advance the kingdom of God in this 21st century season: Special thanks to Mr. William Wilson, Ms. Gertrude Scott, Mrs..
