Word for the day "Are you a Son of Encouragement"?

Acts 4:36 (NIV) Joseph, a Levite from Cyprus, whom the apostles called Barnabas (which means “son of encouragement”)Want to build character and, at the same time, build a better life? Then find thoughtful, honorable, God-fearing people who will offer you steady deposits of encouragement. Do you encourage people? Life is a team sport, and all of us need occasional affirmation from the significant others in our lives. As people of God, we are called upon to spread the Good News of Christ, and we are also called to spread a message of encouragement and hope to the world. Whether you realize it or not, many people with whom you come in contact every day are in desperate need of a smile or an encouraging word. The world can be a difficult place, and countless friends and family members may be troubled by the challenges of everyday life. And by the way let me take this opportunity to send you a word of encouragement for this season of  your life!Point to ponder- Since we don't always know who needs our help, the best strategy is to encourage all the people who touch our lives. So today, be a world-class source of encouragement to everyone you meet. Never has the need been greater and have Encouraged-filled Thursday!!!Our Leadership team is especially thankful for those of you who provided financial donations and support in the month of June 2016 by partnering with us in efforts to advance the kingdom of God in this 21st century season: Special thanks to Mr. William Wilson, Ms. Gertrude Scott, and Ms. Vanessa Gaskins. Why don't you take the opportunity to write us on our blog and let us know how we are doing in serving you Great people, we'd love to hear from you!Follow me on Twitter @Elder James Baker, as I endeavor to encourage and empower leaders of today and tomorrow!Kingdom Blessings,Pastor James Baker, Jr.Thank you for using the Word Cup devotionals brought to you through Grace and Truth Leadership on (Word press).
