Word for the day "We all need some help"
James 5:16 (NIV) Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective. Are you the type of person reluctant to ask for help? You are definitely not alone. Too many of us are unwilling to admit we need help. We think it's a sign of weakness. But it's really a sign of pride and self-sufficiency, both which go against the core of a healthy dependence upon God and the power of His Holy Spirit in our lives. God wants to give you great things. God is ordering our steps to humbly admit that you have needs. Don't be afraid to ask others for help.Remember, God made us to relate to one another, to love one another. We weren't made to live life alone. If you are "the leader or the strong" one that is always lending a hand and seeing to it that others are taken care of, it's hard for you to let someone know you need help, but it's important that you do. We need more relational relationships in our lives.Point to ponder- It’s the right time to let go of our prideful mentality and embrace more of the relational mentality we were created to co-exist in!Our Leadership team is especially thankful for those of you who provided financial donations and support in the month of April 2016 by partnering with us in efforts to advance the kingdom of God in this 21st century season: Special thanks to Mr. William Wilson, Mr. Kenneth Washington, Ms. Gertrude Scott, and Mrs. Angela Harrison.
