Word for the day "Nothing more to prove"
Job 42:1 (NLT) Then Job replied to the Lord: 2 “I know that you can do anything, and no one can stop you. 3 You asked, ‘Who is this that questions my wisdom with such ignorance?’ It is I—and I was talking about things I knew nothing about, things far too wonderful for me.4 You said, ‘Listen and I will speak! I have some questions for you, and you must answer them.’5 I had only heard about you before, but now I have seen you with my own eyes.Challenging paradoxes for you today, especially for those of you with a healthy sense of self are in the best position to exercise true humility. Why? Because the person with a healthy sense of self has nothing to prove. No agenda to push, No ego to protect! And no need to fret over what others think of you. When you encounter a problem that exceeds your knowledge, you admit without concern that you don't know the answer. This is what the Lord wants me to share with you today!Often time we people of God can really fool ourselves. We think that since God is all knowledgeable and wise, and since we have the Holy Spirit within us, we should be able to do as God does and know as much as God does! The truth is, the more we come to know God, the more we realize what we don't know. And that's O.K. today great people of God!Point to ponder- The more we experience God's grandeur in our lives, the more we understand our dignity as his sons and daughters, the need to be exalted will diminish and we will realize in confidence we have nothing to prove and everything to gain. We have a group of people that feel that they are smart at whatever their craft is, and essentially this should give them an advantage. In God's realm it doesn't always work like that people of God. Yes we need to have a sense of competency but when we think too much of ourselves we may find ourselves on the outside looking in! Have a fantastic day great people of God.Our Leadership team is especially thankful for those of you who provided financial donations and support in the month of April 2016 by partnering with us in efforts to advance the kingdom of God in this 21st century season: Special thanks to Mr. William Wilson, Mr. Kenneth Washington Ms. Gertrude Scott, and Mrs. Angela Harrison.
