Word for the day "Hunger for the Lord"

Psalm 34:8 (NKJV) Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good; Blessed is the man who trusts in Him!Very different than our physical hunger, our appetite for God is endless. Once you have satisfied your physical hunger you no longer want to eat. In fact, the sight, smell, or even the thought of food can almost make you sick after you have eaten your enough. In fact, We can have this same experience with our other sensual appetites as well. But the opposite is true of our appetite for the Lord. The very act of satisfying your appetite for the Lord enhances it. That's precisely why Scripture tells us to “Taste and see that the Lord is good.” To come to His feast table. How are you doing with your relationship with the Lord?Experience for yourself that God satisfies completely. And when you do, something wonderful and life changing will happen: you'll find yourself wanting more of the Lord, and less of what you perhaps have been using as a cheap substitute for God. In this Advent season we can prepare our hearts and affections towards the Lord! How can you improve your relationship with the Lord?Points to ponder- It all starts with surrender, to surrender to the fact that you are not God. And the Lord’s ways aren't our ways. And trust God every day, that the Lord knows what He's doing. We have to start somewhere, why not start where you are? Have a great day Thursday!Month of December is our appreciation month to each of you.
