Word for the day "Grace giver to your children"

Psalm 103:10-13a (NLT) He does not punish us for all our sins; he does not deal harshly with us, as we deserve. 11 For his unfailing love toward those who fear him is as great as the height of the heavens above the earth. 12 He has removed our sins as far from us as the east is from the west.13 The LORD is like a father to his children.Jesus doesn't respond to us based on what we deserve to get. Our Lord responds based on what we need. Our Lord provides for our needs even though we are undeserving. Jesus died for us while we were still in rebellion against him. Our Lord allows us to grow, and our Lord does not force us to clean up our act before he comes into our lives. The Lord meets our needs and gives us the grace and the space to grow.When I thought about how difficult it was to see my daughter Ashley develop some troubling characteristics, even normal teen rebellion, I suddenly saw the parallel with our Father God and all of us, his children. Every one of us is rebellious. We whine and cry; We shout "No!" in our spirits. We sneak around doing what we know we ought not to do. And yet God accepts us wherever we are. The Lord refuses to abandon us or give us what we so richly deserve; he pours great rivers of (amazing) grace into our lives. As David marveled,The Lord does not treat us as our sins deserve or repay us according to our iniquities. For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is his love for those who fear him; As far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us. As a father has compassion on his children, so the Lord has compassion on those who fear him. (Psalm 103:10-13-KJV)Point to ponder- Thinking about the grace of God will help you become a grace giver to your children, even if your children are grown now.
