Word for the day "Keep on Rejoicing in the Lord"

To our Family and Friends,As we commemorate the death, burial, and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ this Resurrection/Easter season, reflect on the remarkable truth that, unlike all the other religions of the world, Christianity is uniquely rooted in history and evidence. Did you know this? Now we don't say this to make ourselves better than any other religion. We say this so you'll know and share who you are and whose we are to the world!Jesus of Nazareth was born in Bethlehem in Judea during the reign of Caesar Augustus and was put to death under Pontius Pilate, a first-century Roman governor (Luke 2). The proclamation of His life, death, and resurrection is validated both by credible eyewitness testimony and by credible extra-biblical testimony as well. No other religion can legitimately claim this kind of support from history and evidence. We need to understand our Faith in order to share the truths embodied in the content of our Faith! Thus the apostle Paul boldly declared to the people of Athens, "In the past God overlooked ignorance, but now he commands all people everywhere to repent. For he has set a day when he will judge the world with justice by the man he has appointed. He has given proof of this to everyone by raising him from the dead” (Acts 17:30–31).Point to ponder- The celebration is not over, keep on celebrating our Lord!Rejoicing in His resurrection,Pastor James Baker, Jr.
