Word for the day "Believing God's Promises"

II Corinthians 1:20 (NLT) For all of God’s promises have been fulfilled in Christ with a resounding “Yes!” And through Christ, our “Amen” (which means “Yes”) ascends to God for his glory.We must study God's Word eagerly and consistently because it's a Navigation system, and Spiritual guide for our lives here on earth. As the psalmist said, God’s Word is "a lamp unto our feet and a light unto our paths" (Psalm 119:105). Yet there's an important discipline to consider when we spend time in Scripture: and that is believing God's promises.Please read a few:• God is always near and will never forsake you.(Psalm 37:28) says 'For the Lord loves the just and will not forsake his faithful ones. They will be protected forever.• God also has good plans for you.(Jeremiah 29:11) says, 'For I know the plans I have for you,' declares the Lord, 'plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.• God listens to you when you pray.(Jeremiah 29:13) communicates this promise: 'You will find me when you seek me with all your heart.• God will forgive you when you fail.The prophet Micah tells us in (Micah 7:18), 'Who is a God like you, who pardons sins and forgives the transgression of the remnant of his inheritance?From first to last, Scripture is replete with God's promises to us. And family of God, it's only the promises of God that call forth our faith, fill us with hope and love, and nourish courage to live in the world, but not of the world. Therefore, friend, it's imperative that you and I endeavor to believe God's promises to us, and for the living of our days.
