Word for the day "Don't be Afraid"

Psalm 27:1 (NKJV) The LORD is my light and my salvation; Whom shall I fear? The LORD is the strength of my life; Of whom shall I be afraid?Instead of working through fear, we sometimes divert ourselves with activity or deny that we are afraid, even to ourselves. Faithful people of God are encouraged to fear God--in the sense of awe, respect, and obedience. This does not mean to be afraid of God family, just having a healthy and honorable reverence for God in our lives. It’s imperative to make the distinction between fearing God and being afraid of God!In fact, we are not to be afraid of anything or anyone else. Overcoming personal fears is a lifelong process. However, we must begin the lifelong process and become cognizant of those concerns and situations that provoke us to the place of fear. Would you believe me if I told you today: Love is greater than fear and that God loves us deeply and dearly (Romans 8:35). Do me a favor family hold on to these words you will need them in times of being afraid and they will provide a sense of comfort to your life! Your family, Your relationships, your career, your finances, your future is in God's Hands!Quote- Nelson Mandela “I learned that courage was not the absence of fear, but the triumph over it. The brave man is not he who does not feel afraid, but he who conquers that fear”.Prayer- Great Lord, please help us to conquer and overcome our fears. Teach us to be patient with ourselves and with you as we work through the process of conquering our fears. I confess Lord, that through you I (we) can do all things. Amen.In His Love,Pastor James Baker, Jr.
