Word for the day "Patience for the Journey"
Job 14:14 (NKJV) If a man dies, shall he live again? All the days of my hard service I will wait, Till my change comes. Our life demands patience, and lots of it! We live in an imperfect world inhabited by imperfect people. Sometimes, we inherit troubles from others, and sometimes we create trouble for ourselves. In either case, what's required is patience. Do you need “Patience for the journey” in your life? But, for most of us, waiting quietly for God is difficult. Why? Because we are fallible human beings, sometimes quick to anger and sometimes slow to forgive. Our society is ridden with fast food, quick internet usage, fast everything. But the Lord does not work necessarily at a fast pace in our lives or the lives of others! The next time you find your patience tested to the limit, remember that the world unfolds according to God's timetable, not ours. Sometimes, we must wait patiently, and that's as it should be. After all, think how patient God has been with us. Have a fantastic day family, you are loved!Point ponder- Today’s word in the Book of Job reminds us that, "The Lord is wonderfully good to those who wait for him and seek him. The change needed in our lives is in timing of God and we must trust that process!Quote Charles Stanley- “Two signposts of faith: "Slow Down" and "Wait Here."Quote Jim Cymbala - “Our challenge is to wait in faith for the day of God's favor and salvation”.Prayer- Divine Lord, let we Your people live according to Your plan and according to Your timetable. When we are hurried, Lord, slow us down for Your purposes. When we become impatient with others, give me empathy. Today, Lord, let us be patient Believers, and let us trust in You and in Your master plan. AmenIn his service,Pastor James
